Mission statement: Our goal is to provide quality vitamins using the finest
ingredients that have been studied through the medical community.
Lucho Tejada MD
He is an interventional cardiologist at St Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania. This hospital has been ranked in the top 100 in the United
States for the past five years. He earned his medical degree in Bogotá,
Colombia and his post graduate education in internal medicine, cardiology
and interventional cardiology in Massachusetts. He is an author of a text book
on interventional cardiology. In his career he has seen the consequences of
heart disease so he has been concerned with finding ways to help people
prevent the development of heart disease.

Harvey Castro MD
He is an Emergency Medicine physician who graduated from the University of
Texas Medical Branch, and undergraduate from Texas A&M University where
he received his BS, BA in Biomedical sciences and political Sciences. He is
currently working on a Neurology textbook. Dr. Castro has a personal interest
in heart health, since he has a family history of heart disease. He has helped
create the Active heart vitamins by vital complex. He is currently taking these
vitamins.

Dennis Passante PHD
His experience in the health field started in the 60’s at Gold's Gym located at
Venice Beach, California. There he learned the art of "body shaping" using
techniques from world-class body builders and personal trainers. He later went
on to manage a health club in New Jersey. He earned a Ph. D. from the
American Holistic College of Nutrition. He later owned a health food store in
New York City. Currently, he consults with individuals to determine the best
nutritional program to help achieve optimum health according to their
individual biochemistry.

The Vital Complex LLC Story:
Our company was created with the goal of providing the best ingredients and
using vitamins that have been extensively studied in the medical literature. Dr.
Castro and Mr. Passante have been working together for over 18 years. They
joined forces with Dr Tejada to help create an “Active Heart formula”. The
company was founded in 2004.
Our company takes pride in that we are managed by physicians and a doctor
in nutrition. We do not take any shortcuts in our manufacturing and we always
have the consumers best interest at heart. We are available to answer any
questions you may have concerning our product(s).
